Nos Hicieron Buscadoras

A docuseries that honors the memory of four human right defenders disappeared in Colombia during the 90s, showcasing the bravery of the women who continue to search for them. Using art and testimony to reconstruct their legacy, the project demands justice and sheds light on the profound impact these disappearances have on families and society.

Role: SFX and Backgrounds Editor

For this project I worked mainly as a sound editor, creating subtle backgrounds and adding sound effects to support the narration during animated sequences. Nonetheless, I had the opportunity to be the sound mixer for one shooting day. That was my first time doing production sound for a documentary and I gained essential insight into the "always-alert" workflow of documentary production, learning to capture spontaneous, unscripted moments.
